Membership is on a quarterly basis starting on the 1st day of January, April, July & October. Occasionally shorter periods may be available; with the exception of an agreed and specified period, all membership periods end on the last day of the month. There is a discount for extended membership.

Access is on a membership basis. Applications are approved by Waimate Health Developments, and allow 24 hour access by individual key tag.

Tags are issued by Waimate District Council, as owner of the building.

COVID 19: Now the leading cause of death in New Zealand. The current vaccine limits severity but has little effect on transmission, and at present the Committee do not believe it is a reasonable requirement for membership.

However, in the event of a new variant of concern, or a new vaccine effective against multiple strains, this will be re-evaluated. By joining, all users (and especially the unvaccinated) accept that the requirement may be re-introduced at short notice, and without any right of refund.

SPONSORED CLIENTS are welcome but parent organisations should note that, as volunteers, we do not have time to comply with complex requirements of finance departments. Please email with details of your client and request. We will respond with a quote, and supply/ return one item only- whether it be invoice, buyer created invoice, purchase order, receipt etc.

 

One Quarter

3 Month

$120 - Or pro rata if part way through the quarter.

$80 - A concessionary rate available up to age 20 years, and for those over 65 years of age. ie turning 20 yrs means full membership fee, turning 65 yrs eligible for concession. Confirmation of status may be requested.  Minimum age 16 years old.


Half year

6 Month

$220 - Or pro rata if part way through the period.

 


Full year

12 Month

$400 - Or pro rata if part way through the period.

 


  • Other periods are available on an enquiry basis, eg for returning college students who have previously been members. Email for information.

  • The minimum membership period for new members is one month

  • Visitors who are staying with a current gym member and who wish to continue their exercise programme may join, but must attend with the nominated member. Key tags will not be issued. An induction session is required for Health & Safety etc. The minimum fee is $40. Please e-mail to enquire
